I’m Janet Hernandez, a journalist and music enthusiast based in New York City. My passion for journalism began on the city streets, literally. I loved talking to fans on line as we sat outside a concert venue, hours before the show began. Hearing their stories inspired me to write.

 

I recently graduated from college with degrees in English and Film and Media Studies. Now I’m ready to gain work experience and launch my journalism career. I’ve written hard news stories, profiles, features and more. Check out my work here!
